New Zealand Warriors CEO Cameron George has praised the sacrifices and resolve of his club, after Nathan Brown’s mutual departure this week.

The Warriors have had to remain in Australia over the past couple of seasons due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and upon their return home in a few weeks time, made the mutual decision to part ways with coach Nathan Brown.

It means club legend Stacy Jones will take over as interim coach for the remainder of the season starting with Sunday’s game against Cronulla.
