A dozen scientists and economists is calling for an end to public subsidies and grants towards irrigation infrastructure.

They’ve launched a joint declaration, with a three point plan aiming to fix the Murray Darling Basin plan.

Rural reporter Eddie Summerfield spoke with University of Adelaide Professor Sarah Wheeler and Murray Darling Basin Authority Chief Executive Phillip Glyde.
