Mazda CX-9 gets some updates
One of the more popular large SUV’s released last year was Mazda’s new CX-9 – the large seven-seater an instant hit offering generous amounts of passenger and storage room – in fact CX-9 sales this year are up 380 per cent – Mazda just announcing changes with added dynamic, safety and feature improvements – prices rising by $1,400 across the 8-model range – the front drive CX-9 Sport now kicking off at $43,890 running to 64,790 for the flagship Azami all-wheel- drive. There’s much needed improvements in noise, vibration and harshness levels, added pedestrian collision detection and improvements in the vehicle’s dynamics. – This has been done by adjusting engine torque in response to steering input.
Mazda claim noise reduction in the cabin in the second and third rows by a much as 5 percent. Also very welcome for many families will be the addition of child seat anchor points in the second and third row seat positions including Isofix mountings on the two outer second row seats.
