Kia Cerato sedan – style, features and great value with a 7-year warranty
A call from my niece with a simply request – what should she buy in a new small automatic sedan. I recommended the relatively new 2.0-litre Kia Cerato S automatic sedan – why?, for a start its safe, more than 50 percent of its body uses high strength steel plus it has a comprehensive suite of active and passive safety elements, and it’s particularly roomy with classy, very European styling elements, has a very well sorted suspension and steering tuned here to our conditions, the warranty a confidence inspiring 7-years/unlimited, important for a young woman on a tight budget, and at $21,490 drive-away in six–speed automatic exceptional value given its features list. The engine is no fire breather but it does a workmanlike job and happily runs on regular 91 RON fuel. Consumption on the city/country cycle listed at 7.4L/100km. I’m happy to say or maybe just fortunate, that after several months of ownership by niece is a very happy owner. I’m David Berthon
