Farmers push for fairer rates
Rising council rates have for the past couple of years been an uncontrollable cost burden on Victorian farmers.
In some cases rural property owners have been hit with a year-on-year increase of up to 40 percent.
It’s the number one election issue for the Victorian Farmers Federation.
