Drought funding welcomed
Drought relief funding from the New South Wales Government to the state’s farmers now exceeds more than $1 billion.
An additional $500 million has been announced that’s being divided between Drought Transport Subsidies, the farm innovation fund, while the cost of farming fees are being slashed.
It’ll also fund counselling and mental health services, animal welfare, and critical community services.
