Some farmers in Victoria are helplessly watching crops die in the ground, because they’ve unwittingly used chemical crop-protection products that are allegedly contaminated.

There are fresh claims some of the chemical products contain materials not approved for use in Australia.

Some products have already been investigated and pulled from the shelves.

The Victorian Farmers Federation is now calling on the chemical companies to compensate affected growers.
