Chemical Regulator Seeks Improvement
An independent performance review of the Australia’s peak chemical regulator has recommended improved use of regulatory instruments, and a more efficient assessment process.
The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority did see an increase to 74 percent of assessments completed on time in the December quarter, up from 58 percent in September.
