Michael is joined by Barnaby Joyce, the Nationals member for New England who joins other conservative MPs to push the Morrison government for more radical and far-reaching religious freedom provisions in forthcoming laws.

Mr Joyce wants laws to exempt religious beliefs from employment contracts to give legal protection to views such as those expressed on social media by rugby star Israel Folau.
