The Ford GT-HO Phase IV is almost 50 years old and there was a time when it sat unwanted in a car lot. To many it is just a piece of fashioned tin, and to others it’s a souped-up taxi. But it is at the vanguard of Australia’s booming classic car scene and today it finds itself as our most expensive- ever home-made car. It is worth a staggering $2 million, and there are many reasons why.

Clinton Maynard is joined by UNIQUE CARS Magazine editor Guy Allen who spoke to the owner of this incredibly rare Falcon, and explains how it has come to be demanding such an extraordinary price tag.
