On the 4th and 5th of June 2016, The Beach Club Collaroy located on the Northern beaches of Sydney, sustained severe damages due to extreme weather conditions and king tides.

Ben Fordham broadcasted live from Dee Why RSL, in support of the “Re-Building an Even Better Club”, an effort to raise funds for building a new beach wall.
