The Customer Service Minister is defending the extension of the QR code mandate in NSW.

Despite NSW no longer tracking and tracing, the Premier said the check-in rule will remain to make sure people feel “confident”.

Minister Victor Dominello told Ben Fordham “it was a line-ball decision”.

“Kids going back to school … we’re expecting a surge in numbers there. That’s another reason to be more cautious.”
