Opera Australia is on a mission to bring more Aussie content to our theatres and stages.
New Artistic Director Jo Davies will join alongside CEO Fiona Allan. The two will be the first women in charge of a national opera company together.
Ms Davies told John Stanley opera in Australia needs to be seen in more places than just the Opera House.
