Article image for One year until polling day, does Gladys Berejiklian deserve re-election?

Political leaders in New South Wales are moving into campaign mode, 12 months before polling day.

Premier Gladys Berejiklian will focus on quality of life, cost of living, and livability in cities and regional areas… a shift away from jobs and growth.

Speaking with Alan Jones, Ms Berejiklian boasted about her government’s record on infrastructure.

“We’ve delivered 77 major upgrades to hospitals and health facilities across the state.

“77 communities now have a new hospital, an upgraded hospital or a new health facility since we’ve been in government.”

The Premier was also grilled on several issues blighting the government, including the handling of mining licences in the Hunter Valley, the ongoing mess that is the CBD light rail and the thousands of share bikes plaguing Sydney.
