Arts Minister John Graham, believes there is a lack of theatre locations in Sydney, driving talent to look to other cities for spaces to perform.

Minister Graham is looking to develop a precinct, where most of Sydney’s theatres can co-exist, but he isn’t sure where this will be.

“We’ve got to ask the industry, the council and the public, then come back with a view based on that,” Minister Graham told Deborah Knight.

“Our first priority has to be saving the spaces we’ve got…I want to see the Roxy Theatre back in service.”
