Northern NSW resident devastated by floods ‘overwhelmed’ by support from 2GB listeners
A northern NSW resident is struggling to recover from devastating floods.
Narelle’s Woodburn home and business have been completely destroyed and because she’s a renter she’s not eligible to receive the $20,000 grants that were announced this week.
Her quilt business is named after her daughter Bindi, who died from leukemia 27 years ago.
Ben Fordham is asking listeners to help Narelle out.

Narelle told Ben she received about $6,000 in donations.
“It’s overwhelming.”
She even received a donation from an 11-year-old from the NSW South Coast.
“It touched my heart … that a little 11-year-old could think of me.”
