Former British politician Nigel Farage has paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth II as her coffin arrives at Buckingham Palace.

The Queen will be moved tonight to Westminster Hall where she will lie in state for four days.

Mr Farage told Ben Fordham he’d met her in an informal situation “over a glass of something, as they say”.

“She was great fun to be around!

“Stupidly, I thought she was immortal.”
