A mother is pleading with private health insurers to implement a change, allowing young people with a disability to remain under their parent’s private health cover.

Julie Camilleri’s son has a permanent disability and was covered under the family health fund until the age of 25.

CEO of Private Healthcare Australia Rachel David told Chris Smith “the system is complex” but the issues “should be” sorted by December.
