Tennis player Andy Murray has broken down in tears at a press conference ahead of the Australian Open.

The Scotsman says there’s a chance this could be his last-ever tournament.

He visibly struggled to get through a practice match against Novak Djokovic at Margaret Court Arena yesterday.

The three-time Grand Slam winner and dual Olympic gold medallist has been battling a hip injury for more than a year.

Murray broke down in tears and had to leave the press conference to compose himself.

He later returned and expressed his desire to retire at Wimbledon but admits the Australian Open could be his final tournament.

“Pretty much done everything that I could to try and get my hip feeling better and it hasn’t helped loads… I think there is a chance #AusOpen is my last tournament.

“I can’t keep doing this.”
