A regional family has lost their home after mice chewed through the wiring in their house, sparking a fire.

Rebekah Ward told Ben Fordham she returned home to a destroyed home and her three sons watching on.

“They were standing across the road and they came down to me and said ‘mum, we’ve lost everything’.”
