The NRL expansion race is on, but Paul Gallen says Perth is falling behind.

He warns that the Perth Bears aren’t doing enough to promote themselves before they enter the premiership in 2027.

The new franchise have so far signed 18 players for their inaugural season with some of their biggest additions including Toby Sexton, Tyran Wishart and Josh Curran.

“For a new team to function from the get go we need to give them something,” Mark Geyer told The Continuous Call Team.
