The Deputy Prime Minister has fronted the Nationals’ party room after texts describing Scott Morrison as a “liar”.

Barnaby Joyce had offered his resignation to Mr Morrison but it was rejected.

Senator Matt Canavan told Ben Fordham “Barnaby told the party room exactly what he said in public”.

“I don’t think it’s as big a deal as some in Canberra are making out. It happens all the time in every workplace.”
