The Continuous Call Team’s Mark Riddell has opened up on his daughter, Ava’s, battle with a rare health condition called Ogden Syndrome.

From the time she was born, six-year-old Ava battled a number of health issues but doctors could never pinpoint what it was until now.

She’s been diagnosed with an extremely rare illness with only 120 cases in the world.

Riddell says it’s he and his wife Karli’s mission to help raise money for research into the disease and to eventually find a cure.

“It’s got to a point where Karli and I can start talking about it and trying to get some traction,” Riddell said.

“The numbers are there and only a couple in Australia and one of 120 worldwide, no one really knows about it.

“We’ve sort of made it our mission now, we want to raise money to fund the research and the possible development of a cure as a possible long term goal.”
