Rugby League legend and Chairman of the Daniel Anderson Fund, Mark Coyne says he’s amazed by how positive Daniel Anderson has been after his horror accident.

Anderson, who now works in a recruitment role at the Roosters, suffered a catastrophic spinal cord injury late last year following a body surfing accident on the NSW Central Coast.

Now the NRL community is rallying together launching the The Daniel Anderson Support Fund to help raise much-needed funds for the former Eels and Warriors NRL coach.

Coyne told The Continuous Call Team his proud of his close friend’s attitude throughout his recovery.

“I’m just amazed at how positive he is, I don’t know how I’d go with it to tell you the truth,” Coyne said.

“Daniel is an incredible individual and quite inspiring in terms of his attitude towards getting over this injury.”
