Former NRL star and member of The Continuous Call Team Josh Morris says father, Steve, is set to make a full recovery from a major health incident earlier this week.

A legend of the game, Steve ‘Slippery’ Morris, suffered a stroke and collapsed after having a coffee with friends on Wednesday on the NSW South Coast.

After undergoing emergency brain surgery in hospital, Josh provided a positive update on his father’s health today.

“Because Dad was seen so quickly, his brain didn’t suffer any damage,” Morris said.

“There was no dead part of his brain.

“They’re expecting him to make a very good if not a full recovery.”
