Joe Hildebrand has weighed in on the upcoming federal election believing the recent Newspoll will factor into Scott Morrison being kicked out of government.

With the results in Labor’s favour, Joe told Jim Wilson, “that’s pretty bad.”

With Scott Morrison dealing with the chaos of the alleged leaked texts, Joe has said the Prime Minister struggles to see issues coming: “He’s not very good at seeing events coming, or avoiding disasters”.

“I can’t see a way for him to be able to make the case that his government deserves to be re-elected.”

Mr Hildebrand believes the Prime Ministers reaction to the alleged text message is a “sign of a desperate PM who doesn’t want more to go wrong.”
