Former Prime Minister has one-uped the current PM by skolling a beer at a rugby derby on Saturday.

This comes after Opposition leader Bill Shorten slammed the PM for having alcohol at his political events.

Attending the Manly Marlins and Warringah Rats rugby derby, Mr Abbott skolled his beverage of choice, a NSW Blues special edition from Toohey’s New’s ‘Old Buck Advice’ range.

It’s not the first time the former PM has been caught downing a beer.

In 2015 he was filmed throwing back a schooner at a Sydney pub.
