Former SES commissioner Murray Kear has some words of advice for Gladys Berejiklian who prepares to face the Independent Commission Against Corruption.

In 2015 ICAC found Mr Kear to have corruptly sacked his deputy, a claim which Mr Kear later took to court and was exonerated of the charges.

Former SES boss Murray Kear tells @BenFordham although he was cleared of corruption by the ICAC, his name is still “up on the ICAC website as being corrupt”.

Mr Kear told Ben Fordham he encourages the former premier to prepare to move on with her life.

“Every morning I’d wake up and look in the mirror and realise I was looking at a person who was innocent.

“I know she’s a strong person … it is going to be tough, it is going to be a rollercoaster ride.”
