‘I wouldn’t trust him’: Pauline Hanson ‘furious’ over Turnbull’s trip to Bali

One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson is “absolutely furious” over the Prime Minister’s decision to send Malcolm Turnbull to Bali for a climate conference.

Mr Turnbull is heading to Indonesia next week to represent the Morrison government, with the news sending the open line going into meltdown.

“Truly everyone is up in arms about this decision,” Ben Fordham says.

It’s not just our listeners who are angry about Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s call.

Barnaby Joyce has told Ben Fordham it “makes no sense” for Mr Turnbull to be attending the summit considering he refused to help the Liberal campaign during the Wentworth by-election.

One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson is also questioning the PM’s decision, telling Ben she’s “absolutely furious”.

“He [Mr Turnbull] actually kicked the Liberal Party in the guts, by clearing out of the country. Never gave his support to Sharma in the seat of Wentworth, wants nothing to do with it.

“I wouldn’t trust him at all to go over there and represent us. What’s he going to say or do?”

The One Nation Senator says “the whole lot stinks”.

“Does Morrison feel that he owes Turnbull something? Because it’s not his fault that he’s in the prime ministership and not Turnbull because the party threw Turnbull out.

“I’ve got to ask the question: is there any dirty laundry hidden in the closet that he’s frightened what Turnbull might come out and say prior to the election?”
