‘I can’t have a paper trail’: Teal MP Monique Ryan accused of a cover up
The court battle between Monique Ryan and Sally Rugg is heating up.
Last month Ms Rugg took on Ms Ryan over an alleged breach of workplace law.
The staffer says she was sacked after refusing to work “unreasonable hours”.
Sally Rugg alleges that Monique Ryan refused to write a plan to pay her more than a month’s leave – in return for her resignation letter.
Ms Ryan allegedly said, ” I can’t put this in writing. I can’t have a paper trail.”
“I thought Monique Ryan was all about transparency and integrity,” Ben said.
