Prime Minister Scott Morrison has defended the handling of the Novak Djokovic visa case as the tennis star was kicked out of Australia.

The Federal Court has upheld the Immigration Minister’s decision to kick the men’s number one out of the country.

Mr Morrison told Ben Fordham Djokovic “was wrong”.

“We didn’t give him an exemption. The Federal Government gave him no such exemption.

“We’ve made it very clear that the rules are the rules.

“It’s not our first rodeo, our government has dealt with border issues on many occasions.”
