Fewer than one-in-six applicants have been approved for state government business grants more than two months after the devastating floods.

About 1600 small business grants have been paid, out of about 15,000 applications.

Another 1900 are approved but are still waiting for the money to hit their bank accounts.

Flood Recovery Minister Steph Cooke told Ben Fordham “we are doing everything that we can”.
