Chris O’Keefe grilled Phil Waugh on the ridiculous saga of Eddie Jones and the absolute downfall of the Wallabies exemplified by the poor 2023 Rugby World Cup showing.

The Rugby Australia CEO has taken over during perhaps the biggest inflection point in the game’s history Down Under. Grassroots has never felt more disconnected to the professional game, the players aren’t performing, and the current security of the head coach’s job is still iffy.

“Our focus was to perform as best we could at the World Cup. And we clearly didn’t do that”, before saying if Eddie Jones had been disloyal to the Wallabies it would be “disappointing”.
