Ben Fordham is calling on the NSW Crime Commission to recover $30 million after it reopened its investigation into Eddie Obeid.

Earlier, the Commission told Ben Fordham they can’t get back Eddie Obeid’s $30 million in proceeds of crime amid outrage over the decision.

“He’ll be released in three years and when he gets out he should not be able to restart his life,” Ben said.

“It is our money and so far Eddie Obeid has shown zero interest in giving it back. He should not be allowed to leave Australia until all debts are paid.”
