British writer and best-selling author, Jo Baker, has joined Deborah Knight to discuss her new book The Midnight News in this instalment of Deb’s Book Club.

Riveting and deeply moving, The Midnight News has been described as a breathtaking story of friendship, love and war, set just before The Blitz in WWII.

The main character, Charlotte Richmond, grieves over her beloved, brother who never returned from the war in France, and works hard to keep her mind off of what she’s lost.

“We get glimpses of a slightly difficult background, then Charlotte starts to feel a shadowy presence following her,” Jo told Deborah Knight.
