Deborah Knight has called out political parties for concealing the real reason they’re investing in the Great Barrier Reef.

The federal government is set to make its largest-ever investment in saving the Great Barrier Reef, an additional $1 billion.

While Labor is promising $160,00 million to help the reef.

“I just don’t know how stupid politicians think we actually are,” Deborah said, “but it’s no coincidence pollies of both stripes are showing a keen interest in the Great Barrier Reef.

“Let’s call it for what it is! It’s a push to win votes.”
