The Continuous Call Team’s David Morrow has been announced as the 28th inductee of the Sydney Cricket Ground Media Hall of Honour.

NSW Sports Minister Steve Kamper called in to the show to break the special news.

It left Morrow speechless and in tears after being recognised for his distinguished career.

“You’re kidding,” Morrow said.

“Steve, thank you very much, you’ve blown me away.

“This is the biggest honour I’ve had in my broadcasting career.”

The SCG Media Hall of Honour opened in 2014 to recognise the finest journalists, authors, broadcasters and photographers of theirs, or any generation.
