Optus, Medibank and Latitude Financial have seen major cyber attacks in recent months which have impacted millions of Australians.

This week, Latitude confirmed that they had received what appeared to be a genuine ransom demand, but refused to pay up. This is a common move for many businesses hit by cyber attacks.

But if the ransom is not being paid, then what are they to do with the data?

Chris Rock, a ‘Cyber Mercenary’, joined Bill Woods to discuss the ongoing problem.
