Brisbane has been thrown into traffic chaos once again as climate protesters superglued themselves to a major road.

As Extinction Rebellion members marched from Queens Park to police headquarters, two other activists glued themselves to the road on Countess Street.

Police have unglued Sean Nolan, 35, and Hope Foley, 33, from the road and arrested several people.

It comes a day after seven members of the same group were arrested following illegal protests in Brisbane’s CBD.

Among them is serial protester Erice Sergio Herbert who spent four days in custody after a previous protest.

Extinction Rebellion claims this is their last so-called swarm event before a mass ‘Rebellion Day’ on August 6.
