Being “colourblind” to a person’s race, treating them as a human being and not by their race is supposedly inadvertently overlooking the deep-seated systemic inequities that continue to affect marginalised communities.

2GB Drive host Chris O’Keefe is confused by this and believes as a country, all people should be treated the same and a person’s race shouldn’t matter.

“Shouldn’t we strive for a country where people genuinely couldn’t give a flying about the colour of one’s skin?” O’Keefe said on 2GB Drive.
