Chris Minns explains why he didn’t sack Walt Secord
State Labor Leader Chris Minns says he didn’t sack Walt Secord because “there needs to be a process.”
Bullying allegations emerged against Mr Secord from the Broderick report which was handed down on Wednesday.
Mr Secord then resigned from the shadow cabinet.
“I’ve spoken to people over the last week about their concerns relating to Mr Secord,” Mr Minns said on 2GB Drive.
“I had a talk to him about those concerns, and we both agreed that the best thing to do would be for him to step-down from the New South Wales front bench.”
