A young Victorian family has decided to trade one Australian dream for another by raffling off their successful seaside cafe to travel the country.

Laura and Matt McNamara have owned and run the 100 per cent plant-based Island Whole Foods cafe since 2015.

However, the love of adventure and the great outdoors has inspired the couple to raffle off their much loved and profitable cafe in order to travel around Australia in a campervan with their two young children.

“It’s been a dream for five years, and so it’s come up to the fifth year, and we said we’re going to make it happen,” Laura tells Chris Smith.

“Not only do we get to give the cafe to someone who could have dreamed of this for so long, but we also get to enter into our next chapter by living together as a family in a caravan.”

The cafe, nestled on Australia’s southern coast is currently turning over $500,000 each year and has a passionate online following of over 8000 people on social media.

To be in the running for the prize worth over $187,000, all you need to do is purchase one of the cafe’s $15 Raw Golden Chocolate Bars online.

To make the deal even sweeter, $2 from each entry will also be donated to several local charities.
