Musical theatre royalty, Elaine Paige, has announced a series of Australian shows from this October.

The tour follows the huge success of Elaine’s 2016 and 2017 concert series in the UK, which had audiences and critics alike rising to their feet in praise.

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s favourite singer has starred in more smash hit West End and Broadway musicals than anyone else of her generation, from Cats to Les Misérables.

She is described by Chris Smith as “an amazing woman whose legacy on modern musical theatre is really unmatched”.

Fans will be treated to a brand new, intimate show, full of handpicked songs from Elaine’s favourite contemporary artists she grew up listening to.

Despite coming from such a prestigious musical theatre background, Elaine admits to Chris she loves the controversial musical Book of Mormon.

“It is just so irreverent and naughty… you get an opportunity to sit and laugh at all the things that we’re no longer allowed to laugh at or even dare say”.
