NSW Premier announces easing of COVID restrictions

The NSW Premier has announced a further easing of restrictions as COVID hospitalisations continue to fall.

From tomorrow, capacity limits will be removed on hospitality venues and QR codes will only be required for certain settings including nightclubs and large music festivals.

Singing and dancing will be permitted at all venues. Except for music festivals, where singing and dancing will be allowed from February 25.

The work from home directive has been lifted.

From February 25, masks will only be mandatory on public transport, airports, hospitals and indoor music festivals with more than 1000 people.

Hotel quarantine for unvaccinated international travellers will be reduced to seven days.
