The NSW Premier has announced changes to restrictions across the state.

From September 27 all public pools will reopen with COVID-safe plans to be formalised and made public.

From tomorrow, restrictions in hotspot LGAs will be equal to rules across the rest of Sydney, except for the list of authorised workers and the permit system.

The state has recorded 1083 new cases and 13 deaths.

51.9 per cent of the eligible population has had two doses of the COVID vaccine while the first dose rate has reached 81.9 per cent.
