Man surrounds himself with petrol containers

A very serious incident is unfolding on ANZAC Parade in Canberra.
Caller John rang in to tell Mark Levy a man has parked his 4WD on a median strip and has surrounded himself with petrol containers.
Police and emergency services are already on the scene and have blocked off roads at the bottom of ANZAC Parade near Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra.

UPDATE:
The man named Harry Longworth has surrendered to police after a 2-hour standoff and has been taken into custody.
Charges have yet to be laid, but police are making inquiries into the incident.
LATEST UPDATE: The police operation has now been resolved peacefully, however road closures remain in place whilst emergency services clear the scene.
