There are reports multiple people are injured after an improvised explosive device was detonated in Canada.

Up to 15 people have been injured, three critically, after a bomb was detonated in an Indian restaurant in Ontario.

The bomb reportedly exploded around 10:30pm local time.

Police have released an image of the two suspects who fled the scene immediately after the incident.

“When officials went into the restaurant they appeared to see another device,” CTV’s Miranda Anthistle reported.

Global News journalist Jeremy Cohn was one of the first on the scene, telling Ben Fordham there are no fatalities at this point but three people are critically injured with “penetrating trauma injuries”.

“One person who ran over to help the victims told me that people did have glass in their eyes and people were yelling for help.”
