Racing NSW announced that they will be launching an equestrian event worth at least $1 million for retired racehorses.

The horses will be celebrated for their roles in racing history.

Jockey Josh Parr said Racing NSW is doing a “fantastic” job of looking after horses once they have finished competing.

“I applaud Racing NSW for the work they are doing with this.”

Josh has picked up his former race winner ‘Shadow’ as he “was in need of home”.

“I’m thrilled to have him come here.”
