Ray Hadley is warning his listeners to be wary of notorious fraudster Matthew Murdoch Mills, who is believed to be conning people under the new alias ‘Charlie Carter’.

In 2019, Ray received an email from a listener in Lake Macquarie, who said he encountered Mills under his previous alias ‘Dr Charlie J. McPherson’, scamming people out of their property and money.

Rhonda, another 2GB listener with new information, told Ray Hadley today of her recent encounter with Charlie Carter AKA Mills, saying “This b**tard keeps doing what he’s doing to poor unfortunate people”.

Mills supposedly refused to give Rhonda her money back after she wanted to leave a motel he was working at in Narrandera and then trapped her from leaving, allegedly saying he was an ex-police officer.

“Lock up your wallets and purses, he may be looking for some money to get out of town” warned Ray.
