Ben Fordham is warning Aussies might not have the confidence to travel to Queensland as the state announced its border reopening.

The state is expected to hit 80 per cent double vaccinations by December 17, at which point fully-vaccinated domestic travellers can enter Queensland from a hotspot without quarantining as long as they return a negative COVID-19 test in the 72 hours prior.

Listeners have flooded the text line, wary about booking a trip to the Sunshine State.

“How many times have they let us down?” Ben questioned.

“The Queensland Premier has slammed her border open and shut like a fly screen door during summer.

“If you can, holiday here this year … that’s my advice.”
